Torredellagrola

We are a family of farmers, living in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
Weare very close to Verona, Gardaland, and Garda lake, ideal location for visiting interesting sites and park fair, as well as relax and silence amid the hills overlooking the lake.
The farmhouse hotel is in the heart of Valpolicella, in the lovely place “Grola”.

The house is dated back to the eighteenth - century and was bought in the 50’s for agricoltural purpose, totally against the main trend of the region, in fact we are in the centre of marble quarries.

At the very beginning, the house was solely meant for agricultural purpose, growing olive trees and vineyards; later on we decided to share our passion for nature by restoring the house with its typical tower, its antique architecture, to the greater advantage of the dry-walls, wooden beam ceilings, so that to create a sense of warm ambience, and opening a farmhouse hotel finally.

The rooms are fitted with antique wooden forniture, typical of our region, but duly equipped with the most up dated comfort, private bathroom, air conditioning, satellite tv to offer our guests the utmost of relax.

We do produce most of the main ingredients of our cooking, unique extra virgin olive oil, Valpolicella and Garda wines, among those the famous Amarone.
We grow our seasonal vedges, breed poultry, sheeps, cows and pigs to reach the best quality
of sausages.
